The 2024 CFB Playoff Quarter-Final Game at the Allstate Sugar Bowl was postponed from Wednesday, January 1 at 8:45pm ET until Thursday, January 2 at 4pm ET due to a vehicular terrorist attack in the early morning of January 1, 2025 on Bourbon Street in New Orleans, LA. As a result, the Allstate Sugar Bowl clashed with the Under Armour High School All-America Game, causing changes to ESPN programming.
The ESPN App has a choice of six broadcasts:
- Simulcast of ESPNU - "Command Center" broadcast with commentary from Sean McDonough, Greg McElroy, Molly McGrath and Laura Rutledge.
- Simulcast of ESPNews - "SkyCast" broadcast with commentary from McDonough, McElroy, McGrath and Rutledge.
- Simulcast of ESPN Deportes - Spanish commentary with the traditional game telecast. Commentary comes from Javier Trejo Garay, Miguel Pasquel and Guillermo Celis.
- Simulcast of ESPN Radio - AUDIO ONLY commentary from Tom Hart, Jordan Rodgers and Cole Cubelic.
- ESPN App Exclusive - "SkyCast" broadcast with "Hometown Audio"; Georgia fans can listen to the local radio broadcast via the Georgia Bulldog Sports Network from IMG College, with their audio feed synced up with ESPN’s SkyCast presentation. This unique angle has long been one of ESPN’s alternate viewing options. Replays will be shown every time the main telecast shows a replay, while never losing the look from SkyCam.
