Kevin Harlan will lead CBS’s live coverage of Cincinnati Bengals @ Houston Texans in the NFL Regular Season, with Trent Green alongside him as co-commentator and Melanie Collins reporting from the sideline. The game is scheduled for 18:00 UK time on Sunday, 20 September 2026, and in the US it airs on CBS with streaming available via Paramount+ USA in markets where the game is carried by the local CBS station.[4][11][17]
This is one of the more straightforward cross-Atlantic NFL viewing slots for British fans, with the kick-off landing at 6:00pm BST and the match taking place at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas.[1][7][8] In the United States, CBS is the primary television broadcaster listed by multiple schedules and team channels, while Paramount+ is the main streaming route for viewers whose local CBS affiliate is showing the game.[1][5][17]
Kevin Harlan is one of the most recognisable voices in American sport, long known for high-energy NFL, NBA and national radio work, and CBS regularly uses him on major NFL broadcasts.[6][11] Trent Green, a former NFL quarterback, has built a broadcasting career as a game analyst after playing for teams including the Rams, Chiefs and Dolphins, bringing a quarterback’s perspective to CBS’s coverage.[11][14] Melanie Collins is an established sideline reporter across NFL and other major US sports, and she adds the live injury, tactical and atmosphere updates that CBS’s top crews rely on.[6][11][14]
The Texans’ official team information also lists the game as a Week 2 home fixture and confirms multiple viewing options, including CBS and NFL Network in its wider watch guidance, although the main national TV listing for this matchup remains CBS in the sources provided.[4][13] The Bengals’ own watch guide likewise names CBS and gives the broadcast crew as Kevin Harlan, Trent Green and Melanie Collins, which aligns with the CBS Sports and Paramount+ listings.[11][17]
For UK viewers, the match is also being referenced in international coverage as available through NFL Game Pass on DAZN, while some UK previews note a free-to-air showing on 5ACTION from 5:30pm, though the exact UK carriage can vary by rights package and blackout rules.[7][8] If you are in the US, the simplest answer is that this is a CBS game, and if you are watching online in eligible markets, Paramount+ USA is the key streaming platform.[1][17]
